Hello! My name is Sarah Heinsohn (HYN-sen) and I am so glad you're here! I hope you've enjoyed scrolling through my website as much as I've enjoyed putting it together.
A little about me: I'm a native Texan, raised in Bedford and a Mansfield resident since 2010. I'm the second oldest of six children, four boys and two girls.
Way back in late May of 2007 I went on a date with a guy named David and I've been stuck to him like glue ever since. He married me in October 2011 so I think it's safe to say he kind of likes me too. Together we have three beautiful, artistic, clever daughters as well as one lovely little fur baby named Marley. 11 years into our life together and I can tell you that it's true what they say - time flies when you're having fun!
I'm a smiler, a hugger, and an all-around great lover of life. I'm not a thrill seeker, rather an adventurer and wanderer. I bike, run and hike every chance I get and feel so lucky to live in a city with plentiful trails and such beautiful parks to do so in. I'm also a Weight Watchers Ambassador (@getsmartsarah) which is a privilege I'm immensely proud of. Considering how much I love food (burritos are my love language, y'all) Weight Watchers has really been a life saver for me.
With my hobbies and interests photography has always been at the forefront. In my preteens and teens it was rare to find me without a disposable camera, and it felt like I was forever begging my poor mom for film rolls for my Kodak point and shoot. I can't tell you how many pictures I have of my little sister and childhood friends posing in front of various trees and shrubbery. Even back then, I was an artist doing artist things. My loved ones enjoyed every minute of it, I'm sure.
I purchased my first "big" camera in 2009 after many months of back and forth over whether or not I should. It was a big (re: expensive) decision but once I had that camera in my hands there was no going back. Overnight, my interest evolved into a full blown passion that continues to bring me endless pleasure and joy. Being able to capture my family as well as other people's in such a light, honest way is overwhelmingly satisfying. When you love your work, it's not work at all.
